Kumasi Police vows to deal with election troublemakers

The Police in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi, have vowed to deal with any resident that foments trouble ahead of Friday’s polls.

The region has been in the news over the past one week following two separate violent incidents that resulted in two supporters of the ruling NDC sustaining life threatening injuries.

Both victims are on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Police say investigations are currently ongoing into the violent clashes between supporters of the two main parties.

Public Relations Officer of the regional Police Command, Mohammed Tanko, in an interview with XYZ News, said the service won’t tolerate any indiscipline from the irate residents during the Elections.
