Kumasi Girls SHS builds centre from IGF

Kumasi, June 29, GNA – Kumasi Girls Senior High School (SHS), has us= ed internally generated funds to build a modern students ironing centre. The project cost GH¢33,259.00 and it took nine months to complete. Mr Joseph Kwabena Onyinah, Ashanti Regional Director, who inaugurated the centre, noted that it would bring relief to the students and asked othe= r second cycle institutions to also provide such facilities. He commended the school’s management and the students’ representat= ive council, parents and staff for contributing to the development of the school. The Headmistress, Mrs Mary Amanfo, appealed to the government to increase the utilities subsidy for SHS to avoid interruption of academic work.
