Kumasi based FM station director killed in accident

Winneba, Oct. 3, GNA – The Managing Director of the Oppong Twumasi Electrical Company, OTEC FM Station in Kumasi, Mr. Bright Oppong-Twumasi, died soon on admission at the Winneba Government Hospital on Wednesday following serious injuries he received when his car was involved in an accident near Gomoa Potsin. Assistant Superintendent of Police Emmanuel Nana Ofori, the Effutu Municipal Motor Traffic and Transport Unit (MTTU), told the GNA in an interview that Mr. Oppong-Twumasi was returning from Twifo Praso when his car collided with a truck loaded with water sachets at 1830 hours. The driver of the truck and two others on board sustained minor injuries were treated and discharged.
