Kumasi Airport To Resume Operations

The Kumasi Airport is to resume commercial flight operations after activities at the Airport came to a halt about a year ago. Presently, only military aircrafts carrying government officials and other personalities patronize the Airport.

The Manageress of the Airport, Madam Rose Vera Kumi disclosed that a private airline, which will soon begin domestic flight operations in the country will use the Kumasi Airport. The runway is expected to be expanded to accommodate big aircrafts but there are no immediate plans to upgrade the Airport to International Standards.
