Kufuor’s wife Theresa not dead – Spokesperson

Former First Lady Mrs Theresa Kufuor is alive and kicking contrary to speculations making rounds on social media that she has passed on.

Speaking on Starr FM Today Wednesday evening, the spokesperson of the former First Family, Frank Agyekum, rubbished the rumour, describing it as “a blatant lie”.

He said: “Mrs Kufuor is there and there is nothing wrong with her at all. Whoever is fuelling this rumour should be ashamed of himself. There is no truth in the story.”

The news of the former First Lady’s demise went viral on Facebook Tuesday.

However, the Komla Dumor Newsroom, as the news hub of Starr FM is christened, kept receiving calls from listeners Wednesday afternoon about the news.

Mr. Agyekum in a brief interview with Bernard Nasara Saibu debunked the speculation, advising Ghanaians to desist from killing people before their natural death.
