Kufuor receives special message from Guinea Bissau

Accra, Feb. 23, GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor on Thursday received a Special message from his Guinea Bissau counterpart, Mr Henique Perreira Rosa at the Castle, Osu.

The contents were, however, not disclosed.

Commandant Unarou Sissoco Embalo, Minister and Special Advisor of President Rosa, who delivered the message, said in a brief remark that, he was in Ghana to brief President Kufuor on the political situation in his country.

Guinea-Bissau for the past two to three years had been through some political turbulence. President Kufuor said he was happy that the situation there had stabilised and that it was good the Minister had come to update him on the current political developments in that country. The two later went into a closed-door meeting. 23 Feb. 06
