Akosombo (E/R), Sept. 27, GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor would begin a three-day tour of the Volta Region on Tuesday, September 28 from Sogakope through Keta, Aflao, Dzodze to Ho.
He would inaugurate the Coastal Belt Water Scheme at Klikor; the Diamond Cement Plant and Town Roads, both at Aflao and the Water Project and Telephone Exchange at Dzodze.
On Wednesday, President Kufuor would pay a courtesy call on the Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV and people of Asogli State; inspect Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) projects at Ho Polytechnic and visit Anyirawase.
President Kufuor would also address a durbar of Chiefs and people of Worawora, Dambai and Nkwanta and inaugurate development projects. He would end the three-day tour at Hohoe after addressing durbars at Kadjebi and Kpassa.
