Accra, April 6, GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor left Accra Thursday morning for Benin to witness the inaugural ceremony of the President-elect Thomas Yayi Boni.
He was accompanied by the Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr Akwasi Osei Adjei and Mr Kwabena Agyepong, Presidential Spokesperson and some government officials.
He was seen off at the airport by Lieutenant-General J.B. Danquah, Chief of the Defence staff, Service Commanders and some government officials.
He is expected to return later in the day.
