Kufuor holds meeting with medical practitioners

Accra, March 9, GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor on Tuesday held a meeting with the National Executive Committee of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) to discuss issues affecting the medical profession at the Castle, Osu.

Welcoming the delegation, President Kufuor said it was refreshing that the delegation decided to hold the meeting to discuss issues that would be beneficial to Ghanaians, the Association and Government.

Professor Paul K. Nyame, President of the Association, expressed appreciation for the honour to discuss the vision of the Association and other issues concerning the medical profession with the government.

He said it was also an opportunity to introduce the National Executive Committee to President Kufuor after their election in December, last year.
