Kufuor hasn’t imported “customized BMW”

Accra, April 29, GNA – The Office of Former President John Agyekum Kufuor on Wednesday categorically denied that he has imported a “customized BMW” vehicle.

A statement issued by Mr Frank Agyekum, Spokesperson for the Office of the former President, said: “The attention of this Office has been drawn to reports in sections of the media that state agencies have seized a ‘customized BMW’ vehicle at the Tema Harbour, purported to have been imported into the country by former President John Agyekum Kufuor without passing through the proper procedure.

“This office wishes to state firmly that former President Kufuor has not imported any ‘customized BMW’ vehicle into the country. “If state agencies have impounded any ‘customized BMW’ vehicle, it cannot belong to former President Kufuor. The story as far as it relates President Kufuor is therefore not true.”
