Kufuor Did Not Influence Me With Money – Nii Ayittey Wiseman

An Independent candidate in the Odododiodio Constituency, Mr Nii Wiseman, has noted that his decision to stand down and rally behind the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was not influenced by any monetary attraction by the government.

Nii Ayittey Wiseman on Wednesday, August 9, 2005, decided to opt out of the race for the Odododiodio Bye Elections in view of what he described as President Kufuor conceding to his demand for the release and completion of certain projects in the Odododiodio by-election when he met President Kufuor.

Speaking in an interview with CITI NEWS, Nii Ayittey Wiseman, noted that his decision is not related to any compensation received from the NPP, but he would not mind going back for money now.
