President J. A. Kufuor arrived in Washington DC, yesterday, for a 4-day official visit from october 24-29, he was accompanied by his wife, Theresa, ministers of state, and eight Members of Parliament. Also on the trip are certain travel and tour operators and officials from tourism sector.
Accompanying the President are Hon. Nana Akuffo-Addo, Mr Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, Alan Kyeremanten, Ambassador D. K. osei and Mr Kwabena Agyapong.
The highlights of the President?s visit is the premier of a television documentary on the Discovery Communications Travel Channel, titled, ?Ghana: The Presidential Tour.?
The documentary will, subsequently, be screened globally on Tuesday, november 8, at 10pm ET, on the Discovery Channel.
In the film, President Kufuor escorts the Discovery Channel team on a breath-taking tour of Ghana, which shows off the country?s rich cultural traditions and exotic wildlife.
