Kufuor advises Youth to be hopeful

Accra Jan. 7, GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor, delivering his second inaugural address on Friday, has urged the youth to be hopeful and happy as the government has a good plan for the country in his second term of office.

He said the country was blossoming into a place of great opportunities and urged them to get the training needed to enable them to benefit from the opportunities and to prepare for the challenges of the modern world.

“In all that you do, apply yourselves diligently and take your time to mature. Avoid unnecessary risks and take pride in hard work and values that define our nation,” he said.

President Kufuor said the next four years would be a time of great developments, saying, “The next four years will be exciting and promise to be a time of great developments”.

” Be happy and hopeful, because this is where the action will be,” he added.

President Kufuor further advised the citizenry to rededicate themselves to the disciplines of sacrifice and hard work necessary to make the vision a reality.
