Kufour to be buried at Dabaa on May 26

Kumasi, May 20, GNA – The late Mr George Addo Kufuor, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Keyed Map Limited, would be buried at the royal mausoleum at Dabaa, near Akropong, in the Atwima Nwabiagya District of the Ashanti Region on Thursday, May 26. He died on Thursday April 14 at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness at the age of 68.

According to a family spokesman, the burial would be preceded by a burial service at the Saint Anne’s Anglican Church on Saturday at Ashanti New Town in Kumasi with the final funeral rites at the Jubilee Park, in Kumasi. The thanks-giving service would take place at the Saint Anne’s Anglican Church on Sunday, the following day.

The late Addo Kufuor was the younger brother of former President John Agyekum Kufuor, Dr Kwame Afriyie Addo Kufuor, former Minister of Defence and Interior and Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia and Professor Emeritus Addo Kufuor, also former Chairman of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Council.
