Kuapa Kokoo Company donate bulbs to community

Kantinkyire (Ash), May 3, GNA – Kuapa Kokoo Limited (KKL), a licensed cocoa buying company on Thursday donated four sets of bulbs for street lights valued at two million cedis to the Kantinkyire community in the Atwima district.

The donation was in response to an appeal made by the people to the company about a year ago.

Mr Eric Edwin Owusu, the Asokwa Area Manager of the company, who presented the bulbs at Kantinkyire, said the company’s desire to assist communities within its area of operations was its prime concern and part of its social responsibility to the communities.

Mallam Salifu, chairman of the town’s unit committee, and Nana Yaw Nkrumah, regent of the town, who jointly received the bulbs, thanked the company for its assistance and pledged their continued support for the company.
