Kumasi, Sept. 22, GNA – Nana Adwoa Asiedua Nyarko, late Queenmother of Krobo near Asante-Mampong would be buried at the royal mausoleum on Thursday, September 27.
A family spokesman told Ghana News Agency that Nana Nyarko would be laid in state at Krobo Community Centre on Wednesday, September 26 and burial service at Krobo Methodist Church before burial on Thursday. The spokesman said final funeral rites would be observed on the same day at Krobo funeral grounds.
Nana Nyarko 60, died at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) on July 10 after a short illness.
She was the niece of Mr Francis Kwateng, former Ashanti Regional Manager of Ghana News Agency and Police Chief Inspector Oduro Duku Kaakyire of Ghana Police Service, Konongo.
