Kristo Asafo gives to Kumasi Children’s Home

Kumasi, March 30, GNA – The Kristo Asafo (Christ Reformed) Church on Monday donated 15 million cedis and items worth four million cedis to the Kumasi Children’s Home. The items included soap, detergents, biscuits, sugar, milk and bathroom sandals. Presenting the items, Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo, Founder, said the donation was part of the church’s quarterly charity to the Home. He said the church had since 1979 donated various items and cash to the Home and also undertaken a number of projects and rehabilitation works on the buildings.

Apostle Sarfo, gave the assurance that, the church would continue to assist the home to enable it to cater for the children properly. Miss Victoria Asugnya, Supervisor of the Home, thanked Apostle Sarfo for his continued support for the upkeep of the children. She prayed for longer life and prosperity for Apostle Sarfo to enable him to continue to provide for the Home and other deprived children in the society.
