KRH appealed to families to remove their dead bodies

Koforidua, March 12, GNA- The management of the Koforidua Regional Hospital had appealed to families who had bodies of their dead relatives in the mortuary of the hospital to remove them before Friday, March 17, 2006.

This is to enable the hospital to embark on an emergency maintenance of its new 60-body- capacity mortuary.

This was contained in a press release from the management of the hospital made available to the Ghana News Agency at Koforidua on Friday. According to the release, after March 17, the hospital would not entertain bodies of people who died outside the hospital to be kept at the mortuary of the hospital until May 15, 2006 when the maintenance would be completed.
