Kpone-Katamanso DCE funeral slated for next week

The final funeral rites (forty days) of the Late Kpone-Katamanso District Chief Executive (DCE) Alhaji Essa Antie Tetteh, 69, has been slated for Saturday, January 21, at Kpone in the Greater Accra Region.

Alhaji Tetteh, who died on December 13, 2016 after a short illness at the Military Hospital in Accra, was buried on December 14, due to Islamic norms and culture.

He was also the former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU). Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, Mr Emmanuel Nii Ankrah, the Chairman of the Greater Accra GPRTU, said the funeral would be held at the Kpone Methodist School park opposite the local police station at 0800 hours.

He said all branch executives and friends as well as sympathisers in the Region must make it a point to attend the funeral. Alhaji Tetteh left behind three wives and 18 children.
