Kpando: KPANSEC attacked again

In spite of ongoing investigations being conducted by the Police into an alleged attack on students of Kpando Senior High School (KPANSEC), there has been a second attack on students of the school.

Security was beefed up at the Kpando Senior High School after the May 7, 2016 attack on the school by rival students of Kpando Technical Institute.

Latest information gathered by Class News indicates that KPANTECH students damned all consequences and launched another attack within a space of four days. The latest attack took place Monday night.

The two schools have their campuses only divided by a road.

A teacher at Kpando Senior High School explained on Monday told the media that some students of Kpando Technical Institute jumped the school walls and entered “our campus wielding cutlasses, machetes and all sort of dangerous items”.

He said the clashes were renewed Saturday night after some former students of KPANSEC were involved in a fight with students from KPANTECH.

“The KPANTECH boys recognised some of the boys who are old students of our school, so they vented their anger on our students when they came back from town,” he explained to Joy FM.
