Kotoko need $7.5K to treat Larbi Koomson’s horrifying injury

Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko have confirmed they might need up $7500 for Larbi Koomson’s knee surgery.

The 23-year-old damaged a ‘lot’ of ligaments in his knees while in action for Kotoko during a training game last week and is expected to be out for at least eight months.

Kotoko need to get the former Medeama SC midfielder ready for surgery and have confirmed they might need a colossal sum of $7500 for the operation.

“We will need a lot of money for the surgery yes. So we are looking at the situation now,” Asante Kotoko team doctors Kwaku Boateng told Accra-based Oman FM.

Kotoko will be in Togo for an international friendly against Togolese champions Semasa with the attacker.
