Waste operators at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital are now disposing off medical waste in the open due to a faulty incinerator.
The incinerator which is supposed to serve the purpose of disposing the medical waste from the facility seems to have been abandoned for years.
A bare land close to the incinerator is being used to burn the waste.
Residents at the area on a daily basis inhale the smoke from the site which could endanger their lives.
