Korle-Bu suspends admission to Surgical Medical Emergency Unit

Accra, Aug. 16, GNA 96 The Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on Wednesday announced the suspension of admission of new patients to the Surgical Medical Emergency Unit from 1800 hours on Wednesday until Friday, August 18.
A statement signed by Mr Mustapha Salifu, Public Relations Officer of the Hospital, said the action was to decongest the Unit which was full beyond its capacity.
Those who require emergency medical services are, therefore, advised to call at other health facilities, the statement said.
