Korle-Bu Sickle Cell Clinic to close down

Accra, March 24, GNA – The Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on Wednesday said the Sickle Cell Clinic would be closed down for renovation from Apri1 1.

A statement signed and issued in Accra by Mustapha Salifu, Public Relations Officer of the Hospital, said work was expected to last for three months after which the clinic would be opened to the public. It said until further notice, patients and clients should report to the satellite sickle cell clinics close to them at the La, Kanashie, and Mamprobi Polyclinics.

Those in Korle Bu and its environs should report to the Haematology Department of the Hospital, the statement said.
