Korle-Bu Medical team offers free medical care at Twifo Mampong

Twifo-Mampong (C/R), Nov. 29, GNA – A team of medical officers from the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on Wednesday began offering free medical treatment to people in the Twifo- Heman-Lower- Denkyira district. The team, comprising four medical doctors, three technicians and three dispensers will spend three days in the district attending to medical needs of the community.

Dr Richard Anthony, leader of the team, told the Ghana News Agency that during their stay, diseases to be treated would include malaria, hypertension, diabetes and other related problems. Some 100 people drawn from Twifo Mampong and its environs were treated on the first day.
