Parents, staff and visitors who are coming to the Hospital through the Guggisberg Avenue or from Korle Gonno and Mamprobi should use the gates at the new block, a release from the Hospital said on Sunday. The gates were closed to traffic during the construction of the new administration block in 2002.

The release signed by Mustapha Salifu, Public Relations Officer of the Hospital, also announced that, from April 18, 2005, all gates to the Hospital would be closed at 2000 hours (10.00 pm), except the gates at the new Administration Block and the Zoti Gate.

The Hospital authorities said the measure was to ensure the safety of life and property in the Hospital, and therefore asked patients, staff and visitors to the Hospital to co-operate to make the exercise a success.
