Komla’s death: Africa lost one of its brightest talents – Kofi Annan

Former United Nation’s Secretary General, Kofi Annan has described the death of BBC’s TV presenter, Komla Afeke Dumor, as “tragic”.

Kofi Annan made this known on his Facebook page on Sunday when expressing grieve at the untimely death of Komla Dumor whom he said was an “inspirational journalist, always determined to find facts and report on the truth”.

In his words “With Komla Dumor’s sudden and tragic death, Africa has lost one of its brightest young talents. Komla was an inspirational journalist, always determined to find the facts and report on the truth. I shall miss his smile and wonderful sense of humour. May his soul rest in peace.”

Komla Dumor died Saturday morning after a cardiac arrest in London at age 41.
