Komenda residents angry with Mahama over ‘missing sugar and jobs’

Many residents in Komenda in the Central Region are livid!

A lot of them were hopeful the inauguration of the defunct Komenda Sugar Factory was going to bring life back to a dormant town with many unemployed youth.

Many people in the community however say, the reopening of the factory has done little to impact their lives, 6 months after it was reopened.

The NDC is promising 3 million more jobs in the president’s next term in office to help ease the unemployment situation in the country but scores of Ghanaians, particularly residents of Komenda, remain skeptical about the governing party’s promise.
