Koku Anyidoho praises NPP for a warm reception at Delegates Conference

Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Koku Anyidoho has hailed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the unprecedented reception he and his entourage received during the party’s delegate’s conference at Cape Coast.

“We thank the NPP for a successful and well-organized conference. They showed their party is supreme with the way it was organized”, he observed.

He said he was overwhelmed by the massive show of love by some key functionaries of the party including party executives and appealed to other political parties to emulate the example of the NPP.

“The NPP has done very well…..Sammy Awuku, John Boadu, Hopeson Adorye and Henry Kortey did a very good job. They ensured that our personal security and interest was well catered for at the Congress ground. It was very amazing and I am full of praise for them”, he stated on Accra-based Okay FM.

Mr Anyidoho observed that this should be the way political parties will treat each other and advise the rest to follow suit stating all the NDC can do is wish the president well.

“We will continue to hold them accountable for them to honor the promises they made to Ghanaians including the payment of DKM customers, God is Love, payment of teacher and nursing trainee allowances and also tame the invincible forces”, he assured.

The NDC stalwart said the fact they are in different political parties with different ideologies does not imply they are enemies.
