Kofi Wayo Fetes Journalists

Call him controversial, call him a bull in a China shop, call him what you will, Mr Kofi Wayo, NPP losing parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso East constituency is a man who cannot be repressed.

Some people find him loud, others say he speaks gems of wisdom. One consituency he seems to have a soft spot for is the inky fraternity which he says is made up of his heroes. He organised a Christmas reception for practitioners at the International Press Centre on Monday evening.

It attracted journalists from both the state owned and independently owned media. In a surprise move he also invited the equally controversial Michael Soussoudis who fraternised freely with the journalists. Mr Wayo later distributed Liberty Coins to some journalists.
