Kofi Jumah to appear in court today

Former Member of Parliament for Asokwa, Maxwell Kofi Jumah will be arraigned before a Kumasi court today, Tuesday October 7.

Jumah was granted bail last week after he was arrested and charged for assault.

The former MP and seven accomplices are accused of brutalizing a man they accused of stealing his mobile phone.

Jumah has however denied the accusation.

Public Relations Officer for the Ashanti Regional Police Command, ASP Muhammed Tanko told Starr News that the police have enough evidence to start the prosecution.
