Kofi Buah declares intention to contest Ellembelle seat again

Nkroful (W/R), Nov. 23, GNA – The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle and Deputy Minister of Energy, Mr Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, has vowed to make Ellembelle Constituency a stronghold for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He said this during a meeting with zonal executives of the NDC at Ellembelle District, where he declared his intension to contest the seat as MP again.

According to him, the strategy for winning the parliamentary seat in the area required a candidate who is selfless and a unifier bringing together all members and supporters to attain victory.

He explained that the 2012 Elections would determine the future for Nzema people, explaining that for the first time in the country’s budget hearing Nzema and for that matter Western Region had been captured extensively for development projects.

Mr Buah indicated that the party would not allow any party executive or member to be a stumbling to victory, adding that the NDC would give opportunity to people who had dedication and commitment to service, to lead it to victory.

He called on the constituency executives to propagate the success story of the government to people by making the “Better Ghana Agenda” a reality.

The Constituency Chairman, Mr Kwesi Bervel asked the party executives and party faithful to do away with their grievances and unite to work for victory in the 2012 polls.

The District Chief Executive, Mr Daniel K. Eshun called on all to rekindle their devotion and commitment especially at the grassroots to lead the party to victory.

He also indicated that an action plan would be drawn for stakeholders to be on board to work towards the achievement of victory in 2012.
