The National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Kofi Adams is threatening to sue the Daily Guide Newspaper and Accra-based Asempa FM if the two media outlets do not retract defamatory stories published and aired about him following his seized vehicles.
In a letter to Daily Guide and Asempa FM from lawyer of Mr Adams, Samson Lardy Anyenini, it gave the two media outlets 7-days ultimatum to apologise in an undertaking ‘never’ to repeat the false claims.
‘We have firm instructions to, without further notice and upon your failure, neglect or refusal to fully satisfy our client’s demands herein, take out a suit and hold you liable for your said defamatory comments, be advised accordingly,’ it warned.
