Kodzo Batse appointed to serve on NMC

Accra, March 16, GNA – Mr Kodzo Batse of the Ghana Institute of Journalism has been appointed to serve on the Sixth National Media Commission (NMC) as a nominee of President John Evans Atta Mills. A statement signed by Mr George Sarpong, Executive Secretary of the NMC, said he would replace Mr Samuel Appiah-Ampofo, whose appointment had been withdrawn by the President. Mr Appiah-Ampofo served as Chairman of the Finance and Administration Committee and chaired the Special Committee that investigated the recent impasse at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC). 16 March 11
