Dr Sylvia Boye, chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETfund), has stated that the fund is not meant to take over the development budget of educational institutions but rather to supplement the provision of education in the country. 
Dr Boye stated this at the commissioning of the refurbished Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi on Friday.
