KMA to undertake aerial survey to collate data of the city.

The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly has commenced pragmatic measures geared at building a database of all property in the city.
To this end, Utilities Collection Licensing, UCL, has been contracted to undertake pilot mapping and location of property including houses and all other businesses in the metropolis.
A release signed by the Public Relations Officer of the KMA, Mr. Godwin Okumah Nyame, revealed that, UCL will begin aerial survey as part of digitizing Kumasi to enable it build the needed database of domestic, commercial and industrial properties.
“CKT Network has been licensed by the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, GCAA, as air aviation carrier and its authorized to embark on aerial surveys using helicopter”. The statement said.
Adding that, “the exercise would be carried out from Wednesday 3rd December to Thursday 11th December, 2014”.
The Statement called on the public not to panic when the aerial survey gets underway.
“The public is also assured that CTK Network has the experience to undertake the exercise” it affirmed.
The statement entreated the general public to endeavor to corporate with the KMA in this real but very important exercise.
