King Tackie Tawiah III Coronation on tomorrow?

Accra, April 13, GNA – The confusion surrounding the coronation of King Tackie Tawiah III continues as preparations for the event in spite of protestations from the Ga Dzaase, the kingmakers of Ga State. When the GNA visited the Ga Mantse Palace at Kaneshie in Accra, there was feverish preparations towards the Coronation intended to take place on Saturday.

During the tour, the lenses of the Agency’s cameras found a busy Secretariat processing accreditations for media houses and other documents.

A curious glance around the grounds of the residence of the Ga Mantse also captured Asafoatsemen and other stool elders at a meeting deliberating on how Saturday’s event could come off . Stems of trees and other fanciful fixtures were all receiving decorative colours.

In a brief chat with Asafoatse Ahinakwa V and Asafoatse Aboasah, both were upbeat about the happening and certainty of the grand occasion.
