Ketu South residents demonstrate over decision not to split district

Denu (V/R), Feb. 8, GNA – Tension is mounting in the Ketu South District of the Volta Region over the deletion of the area from the list of districts to be split into two when the final legislation on a proposal was presented in Parliament.

A large number of placard bearing residents clad in red armbands led by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency executives of the area on Wednesday undertook a demonstration at Denu to register their displeasure and anger.
