In spite of Mr. Kennedy Agyepong’s xenophobic comments about people of Northern extraction, it has emerged that his biological father is a Northerner who came to the Ashanti Region to work as a labourer on a cocoa farm, in the early fifties.
”His father was a Northerner who came down to earn a livelihood by helping on a cocoa farm in the Ashanti Region.
”The name Agyepong is not his real name but the adopted name of the owner of the farm, the father worked on” Mr. Frank Kweku Appiah asserted
Mr. Frank Kweku Appiah, otherwise known as Appiah Stadium made this revelation in an interview with The Herald in reaction to a story attributed to Mr. Agyepong in the “Daily Guide” of yesterday.
According to him, he has done the necessary investigations and would be putting the revelation in the public domain subsequently.
He added that Mr. Agyepong who had been parading himself as Akan had suddenly forgotten that his father was a labourer who came down to make a livelihood on a cocoa farm belonging to one Mr. Agyepong in the Ashanti Region.
“Mr. Agyepong has forgotten about his roots hence his agenda to thwart the efforts of any Northerner who aspires to be President”, says Appiah Stadium.
According to him it amazes him when the likes of Ken goes on air and makes insinuations against President Mahama a Northerner for trying to become President when he is of the same extraction.
He dared Mr. Agyepong, the sitting Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin North Constituency in the Central Region and a self-styled billionaire, to go with him to ”Antoa Nyaama’, a powerful fetish shrine, in the Ashanti Region, with the required Schnapps to swear before the gods if he had never dealt in cocaine.
According to him Mr. Agyepong’s sister and her husband also dabbled in Cocaine. He dismissed Ken’s claims in the Daily Guide that he had been involved in stockpiling of arms in a chief’s house in the Ashanti Region as a blatant lie and dared him to proceed to Antoa Nyaama to swear before the gods that his claims were true.
Beneath is the story that sparked a reaction from the former New Patriotic Party (NPP) serial caller who has turned a member of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
