Kennedy Agyapong, Alhaji Bature fight over Ibrahim Mahama

Host of Adom TV’s ‘Badwam’ had a tough time settling a heated argument which ensued between maverick Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong and Managing Editor of the Al hajj Newspaper, Alhaji Bature.

Mr Agyapong had alleged that Ibrahim Mahama is a thief but a sharp rebuttal from Alhaji Bature which suggested that the comment was made out of sheer jealousy infuriated the legislator.

”You are just being envious of the young man because when you were his age you didn’t have the luxuries and money Ibrahim Mahama has now, your wife and children’s well-being is all by Ibrahim Maham’s hard work.”

”You can’t match him. The young man has broken his [Kennedy Agyapong’s] record so he’s worried. The guy didn’t create himself. Your wife and children are benefiting from him. Go and ask them.” said Alhaji Bature.”

For the legislator, it was unheard of for anyone to say he envies the Chief Executive Officer of Engineers and Planners and brother of former President John Mahama.

”Of course I can’t match him because I cannot steal from the nation like he did. What do you mean! He will be jailed. How can a foolish person like him take care of my children? Who born dog? He is a criminal,” Mr Agyapong fumed with rage.

Michael Ibrahim Mahama has been in the news for allegedly receiving favors from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) when the party was in government.

He is a businessman with businesses spanning from mining, construction and poultry to real estate.
