Ken Kuranchie replaces Kwesi Pratt as President’s representative on NMC board

The Managing Editor of the Searchlight Newspaper, Mr. Kenneth Agyei Kuranchie has been appointed to represent President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on the National Media Commission Board.

The veteran journalist replaces the Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, Mr. Kwesi Pratt Junior, who represented former President John Mahama and the NDC.

Mr. Kenneth Agyei Kuranchie’s appointment, as announced in a letter signed by the information Minister, Mr. Mustapha Hamid is in pursuant of Article 166( 1) (c) of the Constitution of Ghana, which mandates His Excellency President Nana Akufo-Addo to replace his appointee on the Board.
