Ken Agyapong & Obiri Boahen are not brainy enough – De Sosoo

Madam Anita De Sosoo, National Vice Chairperson of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) says she wants a bigger platform to educate two NPP gurus on Ghana’s history, precisely on the recent brouhaha of who founded Ghana.

According to her, both NPP’s Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong and the deputy National General Secretary, Obiri Boahene are ‘not brainy’ enough when it comes to historical issues.

She dared the duo to face her at the Accra Sports Stadium for an intellectual discourse rather than “barking” on radio stations and claiming to be ‘champions’.

“I want to meet them at the stadium for intellectual debate. They don’t know anything yet brag on radio.” she said in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.

The NDC stalwart noted that, the least opportunity Nana Obiri Boahen and Kennedy Agyapong get on radio to grant an interview, they have a cunning way of drawing her [Anita De Sosoo] into the scene with analogies that are not related to the issues discussed.

According t her, the two have accused her wrongly of alleging that members of the UP masterminded the Kolungogo bombing – but Anita De Sosoo told NEAT FM’s morning show host, Kwesi Aboagye that she has been taken out of context.

“Nowhere did I say the UP tradition masterminded the Kolungogo bumping of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah. These are some of the lies I am just waiting to expose Obiri and Kennedy Agyepong on and they have consistently been running away from me,” she said.

“They don’t respect women, but I am ready to face them at the stadium and debate them on their own party policies and Ghana’s history,” she added.
