Mr. Paul Awentami Afoko has underscored the significance of birthdays in the lives of everyone, indicating that it marks your first existence on earth and therefore reiterate the importance of such days in one’s life.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) stalwart who celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, urged that persons who commemorate should endeavor to commit the day to themselves and their God.
“On my birthday, it is usually a quiet spirit filled day where I spend the time in prayer and meditation. It has now become a habit so on the day, I went into prayer and meditation to thank our Holy Mother and also give thanks to God for his guidance and protection for all these years “, he told Naa Klordey Odonkor on the Ultimate Brunch and Lunch.
According to him, he will not compel others to resonate what he does on his birthday but he urged all who want to celebrate such historic days profitably to do same stating that it’s worth ones time.
He used the opportunity to thank well wishers especially friends and relations who called or visited to share the day with him praying that all their efforts be crowned with immeasurable glory.
“May richly bless everybody who remembered me on this day and i urge them to honour and respect their elders as admonished by the bible to live longer on earth…as a people, we have a lot in common to celebrate.”He concluded.
