KEEA MP tours constituency

Dutch Komenda (C/R), Aug. 10, GNA – Dr. Joseph Annan, the Member of Parliament for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem, has commended Dutch Komenda Landing Beach Committee for making a profit of GH¢6,000 from the sale of premix fuel for a period of six months.

Dr. Annan, who is also the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, made the commendation during a tour of some communities in his constituency.

He advised fishermen to respect the fishing laws to improve the fishing industry.

Mr. Amos Amoo, Secretary of the Committee, said the committee realized a profit of GH¢6,000 from the sale of premix and out of the amount, GH¢4,500 had been used in registering for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and used some to buy wellington boots for farmers in the community.

At Kissi and Bisease Dr Annan donated rakes, shovels and long brooms to the youth clubs.
