K´dua Nurses and Midwifery School gets new bus

The Stakeholders Association of the Koforidua Nursing and Midwifery Training College (KNMTC) has presented a new 33 seater Toyota Coaster Bus valued at GhC326, 231.88 to the College.

The new bus is supposed to serve as a backup to two old buses of the College which constantly break down and affect the practical training of the students who have to travel regularly to their training sites.

Mr.Emmanuel Okraku Kwayisi, the Chairman of the Association, handed the keys of the bus over to Mrs Matilda Bansah, the Principal of the College, after its dedication on the school’s campus on Saturday during a short ceremony.

The bus was purchased from a fund contributed by the Association primarily to finance the construction of a hostel for the school but part had to be used to procure the bus seen as a very urgent need to boost the academic work of students.

The stakeholders Association comprises, parents, guardians and lecturers of the College.
