Kumasi, March 1, GNA – The National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) office of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi has started operating. The hospital, as a service provider, is at the moment rendering services to the Atwima and Ejisu-Juaben districts as well as to the members of the Ashanti regional Civil Servants Association in the implementation of the NHIS.

Mr James Darko-Asamoah, Manager of the KATH NHIS, disclosed this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Kumasi on Monday.
