Karbo taunts Mahama to visit Guinea fowl factory in Upper East

The opposition New Patriotic Party is calling on President John Mahama to use his Accounting to the People tour in the Upper East Region to account for the 200 million cedis allocated to the Savanna Accelerated Development Authority.

The president’s tour to the region defeated earlier argument by the NPP that Mr. Mahama cannot go to the region because he has not fulfilled his promises to the people of the region. But in defence, a Deputy Communications Director of the NPP, Anthony Karbo in an interview with 3FM, said it is not enough for the president to commission projects on his tour to the region.

He assessed the president’s visit to the region as a hurriedly organized event which will not bring any benefit to the people of the region.

“The president must visit the guinea fowl factory which they invested 32 million cedis in and also inspect the afforestation project in the region,” he challenged.
