Junior doctors at KATH support colleagues at Korle-Bu

Junior Doctors at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi, say they support their colleagues at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in principle over the strike action.

A resolution adopted by the doctors at a meeting and signed by Dr E.T. Dassah, secretary to the junior doctors at KATH, said they were closely studying and monitoring the trend of events and will advise themselves if nothing concrete was heard on Tuesday, February 18.

The resolution noted that negotiations regarding the incentive package for health workers and doctors, was rather taking too long a time.

It said their decisions and actions were, however, not prejudicial to any actions or decisions of the negotiating team or the Ghana Medical Association (GMA).
