June four Movement congratulates Vice President Mahama

The Upper West Regional Branch of the June Four Movement has congratulated the Vice-President, John Dramani Mahama, for his exemplary leadership that has led to his being awarded by a University in Nigeria.

Ekiti State University in South-Western Nigeria conferred an honorary doctorate degree in Public Administration on the Vice-President at Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, about 10 days ago.

“The fact that his sterling performance at the Presidency is being recognized by a University outside Ghana is a plus for Ghana no matter what the views of his detractors may be”, a statement issued to the media and copied to the Ghana News Agency at Wa, said.

The statement urged all Ghanaians to rally behind President John Evans Atta Mills and Vice President John Mahama for a resounding victory.

The Movement called on former President Rawlings not to abandon the NDC, which he founded, but rather stay focused in it.**
