The Chief of Staff Julius Debrah as part of his campaign tour in the Ashanti region has mourned with the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on the demise of his mother and Queenmother of the Asante kingdom Nana Afia Serwaah Kobi Ampem II.
The official announcement of the demise of the queen mother will be made public tomorrow at the Asanteman council meeting in line with Ashanti tradition.
The 109-year old Queenmother died yesterday after a short illness.
